Headed for state track meet

ELDO TRACK STARS TO COMPETE – Six El Dorado Springs tracksters have advanced to the state track meet this weekend at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. The young ladies and their events are (from left) Emily Carver – 4×4; Taylor Alumbaugh – 4×4, high jump, 200 and 400; Kate Sibley – 4×4 and 4×8; Hannah Bruggeman – 4×8; Rachel Bush – 4×4 and 4×8; and Elizabeth Clark – 4×8. Many of the events will have preliminary competitions on Friday, May 18. The 4×8 will not. The finals will be held Saturday, May 19. The team and their coaches, Brian Goatley and Josh Smith, will head to Jefferson City on Thursday.
